Why did you choose Math?

  1. When I first entered college, I was an Elementary Education major. From there, I was convinced to double major in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education. One dream I had was owning my own childcare/preschool facility with my sister, Mrs. Kaitlin Scott. Halfway through college, I realized I just only really enjoyed teaching Math. I spoke with my advisors, and they convinced me to minor in Math. I tutored calculus in college and passed a middle school Math Praxis to teach middle school Mathematics. I love teaching Math because it is not subjective, and I love seeing students find success after working hard.
