Reading Olympians
Reading Olympians is a club where members are given a list of 25 books to read by a certain deadline. Competitors then go to Easton Area High School to compete against other schools in a series of 3 rounds. The team faces a different school each time for a chance to earn up to 20 points. Each team is asked ten questions about the books; if one team does not know the answer, the other team can steal to earn the point. The team’s points get added to their final score, and the team with the most points wins a signed book from one of the authors of a book on the list. This club gives students the opportunity to read new books and test their knowledge with their peers.
