Delicious Pumpkin Spice Donuts for Fall


In the mood for a fun fall treat? Get your ovens ready! 

These Pumpkin Spice Donuts are an easy and fun activity to kick off the spooky season. Combining the simple ingredients, the satisfaction of a homemade creation, and the deliciousness, these are the perfect confections for Autumn.

COOK TIME: 12 minutes

TOTAL TIME: 32 minutes

SERVES: 12 people


Donut Ingredients:

  • 2 ⅓ cup flour
  • 2-3 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 Tablespoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 ¼ cup pumpkin puree
  • ⅔ cup milk
  • ⅔ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup oil
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Frosting Ingredients:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 3 Tablespoons heavy cream, may need a bit more to thin the glaze


Now that you have everything that you need, let’s get baking! These donuts are easy and don’t require much at all. 


    • Preheat the oven and grease a donut pan(or a muffin pan)

    • Whisk together the dry ingredients
    • In another bowl, mix together the wet ingredients
      • Slowly add the dry mixture to the wet mixture one third at a time, mixing well (but don’t overmix)
      • Scoop mixture into a large zip top bag and cut off the bottom corner
      • Use this to squeeze the donut mixture into the prepared donut pan (this keeps it clean!)
      • Bake for 12 to 14 minutes or until donut springs back when you touch it
      • Remove to a wire rack (or plate, whatever works) to allow for cooling
  • Apply the Frosting:
    • Whisk together the ingredients until the glaze is perfectly smooth
    • Carefully dip the top of each donut into the glaze and return to the wire rack
    • Garnish with sprinkles!
