The Principal’s Corner
Q: What’s your name and what are some facts about you?
A: “My name is Peter Ioppolo. I have three children. I’m married. I have a dog named Shadow, and I have a ball python named Crawl. My role models growing up were Michael Jordan and my parents. I like to work out. I love my job.”
Q: What is your favorite part about your job?
A: “Without question, the most enjoyable part of my position is working with the children.”
Q: How long have you been a teacher or principal at Delaware Valley?
A: “This is my 17th year as principal in this building. I have 4 years of experience as an assistant principal in the high school (DVHS) and 6 years of experience as an assistant principal in other places.”
Q: Do you think students are doing well this year, considering the circumstances?
A: “In general, I think the school as a whole is doing well. It’s hard to pick a certain thing they are doing well. The teachers and students are all very nice and friendly.”
Q: What do you think they could do better?
A: “My hope is that they work hard and improve on their academic process. I also hope that they remember it starts by being kind to all.”
My name is Emma Simmons, and I’m in 8th grade. I participate in basketball, field hockey, soccer, student lighthouse, FBLA, and drama club.
